Miller’s Learning Center (MLC) provides personalized, results-driven academic support designed to help students and professionals build confidence, master essential skills, and achieve their goals.
Our services include test preparation (SAT, ACT, ISEE, HSPT, GED, and GRE), K–12 tutoring, academic coaching, writing and editing support, career development, and writing therapy for creative, academic, and professional growth.
Founded in 2017 and incorporated in 2021, MLC is committed to making high-quality education accessible through relatable instruction, individualized learning plans, and a student-centered approach that empowers lifelong success.

MLC is not interested in only hiring people with high standardized test scores. We are interested in your personal narrative and your ability to be relatable to a diverse student body. Our learning specialists are world travelers, comedians, singers, actors, professors, and so much more. Ms. Ciara Miller
Ciara Miller hails from Chicago's West Side, where standardized tests were often overemphasized as the primary markers of educational achievement and career advancement. She spent many of her formative years tucked away in quiet spaces, mastering textbooks and the strategies behind standardized exams. Through Miller's Learning Center, she aims to provide students with the individualized education and support that many under-resourced schools struggle to offer—helping them build confidence, overcome test anxiety, and enter the world equipped to use their knowledge in ways that transform society.
