Many students struggle with meeting deadlines to complete their dissertations or theses. Many students also struggle with developing analytical frameworks for their writing and with providing the appropriate organization, grammar, and citations for content clarity.    Your academic writing anxieties no longer need to be burdensome. Miller’s Learning Center (MLC) has specialists who have mastered MLA, APA, and Chicago citation formats. Our edits concern grammar, proper citation usage, content clarity/cohesion, and overall formatting (copyright page, acknowledgements, abstract, curriculum vitae, table of contents, list of illustrations, appendix, etc.). We print out all pages of clients’ writings during the final stages of editing so that the edits are consistent throughout the document. You will not be disappointed in our services. We also offer writing therapy which allows clients to talk through their ideas as our specialists help the clients communicate themselves more effectively.    MLC has worked with several Ivy League PhD candidates from Brown University and Columbia University and has assisted each of those clients with achieving their doctorates. One Brown University client, Shamara Wyllie-Alhassan, won the 2019 Marie J. Langlois Dissertation Prize for an outstanding dissertation in an area of feminist studies. Additionally, she won the National Women’s Studies Association/University of Illinois Press 2019 First Book Prize for her manuscript, “Re-membering the Maternal Goddess: Rastafari Women’s Intellectual History and Activism in the Pan-African World.” Shamara began working on her dissertation with MLC in February of 2019, and she submitted her dissertation in May of that year.
